The Reiki Symbols

My experience of Reiki and Reiki Healing has been gathered over years of practice and seeking. Reiki was the very first healing modality I learned and soon became an avid practitioner. I am now certified Usui Reiki Master Teacher and Reiki level 18 Grand Master (I am not THE REIKI GRANDMASTER merely someone who has developed through the very powerful high level Grand Master Developmental Degrees)

Reiki symbols are sacred healing symbols which enhance the flow of Life Force Energy. They are like keys that open doors to higher levels of awareness and manifestation.

Reiki symbols are Sanskrit-derived Japanese forms. Sanskrit is the mother-tongue of all other languages. It is the language of the Vedas, the oldest writings known to man. The Vedas say that Sanskrit is the language of the spirit world.

Reiki symbols are shown to the student prior to being attuned, and an energetic imprinting takes place that links the image they are shown to the metaphysical energies the symbol represents. Then the Reiki attunement actually empowers the Reiki symbols so that they fulfill their intended purpose. This process has been created by a Divine covenant or sacred agreement between the Creator and those who have been attuned.

The Reiki symbols have their own consciousness. Meditation on these Reiki symbols will no doubt bring forth benefits and guidance on their particular areas of responsibility.

These Reiki symbols are very powerful in their usage but it should be understood that they are merely stabilisers or tools if you like and do not replace the long term development and application of intention and intuition. It is possible to access the energies without the symbols at all as intuition is the key.

There are many many other Reiki symbols which have been retrieved over time from the Akashic records or channelled from various sources in this post however I will only discuss the symbols used in Usui Reiki.

I have no doubt what so ever that I will receive some negative feedback for placing these symbols on this site. I do so in the spirit of openness as I do not like the supposed masters who keep information tucked away in order to maintain power and rob others of the opportunity to regain their personal power. I invite those who worry about such things to search their motivations and understand why they are horrified that I should publicly display this and other information.

Cho Ku Rei

This is the Reiki Power Symbol. Reiki Energy will flow without it, but when you use it, it is believed that the energy increases significantly. It would be as if you had changed the bulb in a lamp from 50 watts to 500 watts. Use at the beginning of the healing session, and at any other time that additional power is needed. It is geared specifically for healing within the physical body.

Sei He Ki

This Reiki symbol is used for mental and emotional healing, protection, purification, clearing and balancing. It works with the cause of the disease, which is often hidden in the subconscious mind (the emotional body) and/or the conscious mind (the mental body). When the body manifests dis-ease, it is often attempting to deliver a message that there is something that needs tending, that needs attention within the mental or emotional patterns we carry. The mental and emotional healing Reiki symbol balances the right and left brain.

This Reiki symbol:

Is especially helpful for healing relationship problems and the issues that stem from them.

Is used for any sort of emotional or mental distress such as nervousness, fear, depression, anger, sadness, etc.

Can enhance one's memory, as it connects with the subconscious mind, where all memories are stored.

Can be used to enhance the effectiveness of affirmations, causing them to enter more deeply into the subconscious and manifest the results you desire more quickly.

Is used to purify food or water, or to clear a room of negative energy, followed by the power symbol.

If, during a treatment, a person begins an emotional release, use this symbol to assist in drawing it out and clearing it.

Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen

This Reiki symbol transmits Reiki energy across time and space. Using this Reiki symbol you can send Reiki across the room, across town, to other parts of the country or anywhere in the world Distance is no barrier. You can also use this Reiki symbol to bridge time. You can send Reiki into the "future," where it will store up like a battery, to access at the time you or others will be needing it. Likewise, you can send Reiki into the "past," to heal issues from earlier in this lifetime, or to past life issues that affect you or others now.

The essential message of this Reiki symbol is "The Buddha in me greets the Buddha in you." (Another word for Buddha is "The Awakened Heart.") And so when you use this symbol you are saying "The Awakened Heart in me greets the Awakened Heart in You." And when that connection is declared and honoured through your hearts, you and the recipient are in a state of Divine Union, and Reiki can be shared regardless of the physical distance between you.

This Reiki symbol connects to the Akashic Records, the life records of each soul, and so it can be used to heal karmic patterns or tendencies that have manifested as dis-ease in the body or that have resulted in mental or emotional pain or distress.

Dai Ko Myo

This is the Reiki Master Symbol. It's essence is the Light of the Buddha, the Light of the Awakened Heart. It signifies expanded wisdom and clairvoyance.

The Reiki Master symbol operates at a cellular and soul level for very deep healing and reaching any deep seated issues which otherwise would cause difficulty. It has been known to heal DNA issues and correction at a genetic level.

Advanced Mahatma Ascension Reiki

Advanced Mahatma Ascension Reiki, Is a wonderful enlightening system, which is ascension, focused. It takes the already excellent Mahatma Reiki and adds much more. As opposed to other systems which you may be familiar with where the rank of master/teacher confers the ability to pass attunements but does not in anyway indicate level of spiritual development or attainment let alone moral standing. Advanced Mahatma Ascension Masters are truly and genuinely one with the great divine. There are 352 levels of separation between our mortal self, and source. Having completed Advanced Mahatma Ascension, masters are one with all 325 levels of Mahatma and source. This is a truly unique system and a unique opportunity to receive energetic healing from a true master.

Without going into too much detail about the ascension process and advanced mahatma ascension reiki at this stage I will provide information on the Mahatma Reiki System (as there is far too much to cover in the ascension system)

Mahatma Reiki

Mahatma Reiki is a marriage of a system of Reiki and the integrated energy of the "I AM Presence" called Mahatma. The marriage of the nine Mahatma Reiki symbols and the opportunity available through the "I AM Presence" - Mahatma, gives you the tools to make the changes needed into this new millennium with grace.

Having read my last post you should now be familiar with Reiki. You therefore, already appreciate the wonderful gifts Reiki brings to your life in many ways. Mahatma Reiki brings all the wonderful gifts you could experience with Reiki plus many more. It is a frequency of divine energy for healing, whose purpose is to empower. For those of us choosing to work/live and have our "being" in the light, Mahatma Reiki gives you a profound spiritual toolkit to work with. It is a particularly integrated energy to assist you in remembering who you really are.

Reiki creates a "bridge" between our human existence and our oneness with God/Spirit the Universal Presence. By using symbols this system connects the recipients to our Godself, and becomes a simple and accessible tool for healing on all levels. Mahatma Reiki, allows alignment and integration in the physical, emotional and mental levels of our being, so that we can more fully access our spiritual potential. Through using this energy in your life on a daily basis you begin to realize who you really are. The word empowerment is the closest description we have to describe this experience.

Mahatma Reiki, and the nine symbols used in this system, creates the bridge for the specific healing of issues, and the empowerment necessary for the profound changes in evolution, we are going through. These changes relate not only to our issues of wholeness and relationship but now encompass opportunities such as Ascension.

Now, as at no time before upon our planet, the opportunity for healing and integration of all aspects of our being, is being made available to all who choose it. Divine equality is Universal Law; no one is better or worse than another. We all are divine expressions of our creator and have within us the "I AM Presence". In the past we worshipped beings who are but a few steps ahead of us on the spiritual path.

The Ascended Masters continue working diligently through the Spiritual Hierarchy to assist us in our evolution. Since the Harmonic Convergence in August 1987, the planet Earth has graduated and become 4th dimensional. This has allowed many openings for light to be anchored on earth and within us. We are rapidly approaching the time when we too will be graduating. Many will be choosing the opportunity of Ascension and assisting others in this process: thus creating an "ascension popcorn effect." The opportunities NOW available to us in physicality, may cause us to temporarily move ahead of the Ascended Masters in evolution, allowing us to give back to our beloved teachers. If this idea stretches your envelope of belief, then get ready for the implosions of Light NOW available.

Mahatma Reiki is a very high frequency of energy. People who have received other forms of healing, report the difference in the power they feel immediately. New recipients Reiki, also feel this profound peace and experience heat in their body and a heightened level of awareness.

Mahatma Reiki Symbols

The symbols act as a bridge between our human existence and spiritual frequencies of energy. Through altered states of consciousness, such as meditation or prayer when doing hands on healing, we can access this highly refined, spiritual energy. What the symbols do in this process process is give you instant access to these spiritual energies. You will experience deep states of meditation as the energy flows through you, and prayer certainly empowers the process through right intention. However, with Reiki, neither is necessary, for you to experience a direct, instantaneous connection to God/Spirit the universal presence in this tangible way.

The 9 symbols provide nine focused and unique gifts which assist on the ascension journey. They are as follows:

A symbol to switch on access to this high level energy.

A Symbol which Balances the feminine and brings wholeness and divine healing in a manner which is extremely difficult by any other method.

A powerful relationship healing symbol which not only balances your place with others but also your love for yourself, clearing up any negative scarring caused by issues surrounding people.

A Symbol which clears out any blockages associated to the 8 types of abundance allowing you to attract more positive into your life. With abundance comes true freedom and connection with spirit and source.

A symbol which brings in God light healing your Christ self and engulfing you in universal love.

A symbol which clears all other barriers to ascension and greatly increases and expands consciousness.

A symbol which connects you to the original blue print of creation which delivers powerful healing from the original template.

A symbol which connects you to god consciousness and helps deliver messages and information from higher level sources.

A symbol which works slowly on your soul’s eye, allowing you to visualise the true nature of existence and start you on the path to complete ascension.

Mahatma and Ascension

As you can see the system delivers a profound level of ascension focussed healing which works slowly over time. But these symbols and the energy which they access are only the start, the Advanced Mahatma Ascension Reiki Journey is one which is life changing and indescribable. This system of ascension acceleration may become the basis of spiritual development for you for many months and years to come.

The Healing Circle

It is my intention to focus the activities of the healing sphere healing circle, on advanced mahatma ascension. So I look forward to the completion of the administration required in order to support me sharing this life changing energy with you.

Reiki - Universal Life Energy, Prana, Chi, Huna

Reiki is a natural system of energy healing. It is done by placing the hands on or near the recipient. The practitioner runs Reiki Energy while placing their hands on or over a series of locations on the recipients body. This energy is the life force that permeates the universe. Practitioners can also work remotely. Remote techniques are usually taught at the second degree level. The process of doing Reiki treatment is thought of as "laying on of hands" or "spiritual healing" and is considered to be a metaphysical phenomenon.

Reiki also has elements based on the traditions of Asian medicine and martial arts which have given rise to acupuncture, chi gong, tai chi and similar practices.  Reiki is related to some practices of Chinese Medicine, Chi gong and other Holistic Medicine and modes. Reiki is somewhat of a fusion of spiritual healing and some traditional Asian medical, spiritual and health practices. The hand placements correspond to some of those points used in Acupuncture and other practices but no needles, pressure or massage is used.

Reiki flows through the practitioner but is not generated by the practitioner. Giving treatments does not deplete the Reiki practitioners own energy supplies. Advanced practitioners can do treatments without physical contact.

What does it do?

Reiki can help alleviate suffering, whether it be of a physical, emotional, mental or spiritual nature. This means that Reiki can heal. This statement is not a guarantee or a promise that someone will be relieved of any ailment whatsoever with a single or with multiple Reiki treatments. In most cases Reiki does enhance the effects of medical treatment when used in conjunction with it. An underlying principle of Reiki is that it can do no harm and cannot be used for any harmful purpose. When we speak of healing a well physical body may be the first thing that comes to mind. However the root meaning of the word is whole. The practice of healing is that of becoming whole on all levels of being including the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels.

Illness happens when the mind, body and spirit become unbalanced. True wellness is reached only by returning the entire being to harmony and balance with itself and with the Earth and the Universe. We begin healing by finding our desire to be well and whole. Without the motivation to be well and the intention to act in our own behalf we can not become well. Reiki is a means to empowering us to become whole in all ways.

Another Purpose of Reiki Is to help enhance personal and spiritual evolution. Reiki will help to assist us on the path to enlightenment. Reiki is not affiliated with any one spiritual path and will work for anyone. Having Reiki does not guarantee enlightenment either. To get Reiki either means to receive Reiki treatment from a practitioner or to learn to practice Reiki. Reiki treatment may be received from any Reiki practitioner.

Reiki treatment enhances the body's natural ability to heal itself. It increases vitality and stamina. It works throughout the body, on the mind, emotions, spiritual essence and aura. Reiki treatment releases blocked energy, promotes relaxation and reduces stress. Reiki energy has a degree of innate intelligence and goes wherever most needed in the body and aura. It helps to cleanse the body of energetic and physical toxins. Reiki can over time, enhance stamina, intuition, meditation and spiritual evolution.

About Healing Energy
There are many systems of energy healing , hands on and remote healing. They all use aspects of the universal life Force energy that Permeates the universe and the entire reality. This Energy is known by many names, Prana, Mana, Chi, KI, Orgone energy, Bioenergetic plasma, Divine breath, Cosmic Pulse, Vital Fire, among them. Even in those systems that call directly on spiritual entities, Angels, Healing guides and so forth, the actual healing is effected by aspects of the universal energy.

Most cultures seem to have at least one name for it even those that do not officially acknowledge it as real. Different cultures develop different ways of working with energy and different needs evoke different frequencies, techniques and explanations for that work. A Hawaiian system, a Tibetan system, and a Hindu system of energy work will each be different. Yet each still works with the universal life force.

Reiki is a system of energy healing that was discovered, defined and developed in Japan. Therefore It uses elements derived from Japanese culture such as Shinto, Esoteric Buddhism and the traditional medicine of Japan and China to explain how it works and to define its goals. The traditional definitions and explanations of Reiki practice have as an underlying base many of the accepted cultural premises of Japan. This may include elements which seem strange or opaque to people who have not been immersed in that culture from birth.

Reiki is not religious. There is no dogma involved with Reiki, well not much anyway. Most of what could be called Reiki dogma does not actually effect the practical use of Reiki in the real world. Being attuned to Reiki does not entail any conversion or adoption of spiritual beliefs or practices from any religion or particular set of beliefs. Reiki and other energy healing modes will harmonize with most spiritual belief systems that allow for the existence of energy work.

What Is Reiki?
The simplest definition of the word Reiki is Universal or Spiritual (Rei)- Life Force or Energy (Ki). The Reiki system is a simple and powerful system of energy work that anyone can learn to use for developing physical, emotional, mental and spiritual harmony and wholeness in themselves and for assisting others.

The practitioner uses the Reiki energy to help people move & balance energy, remove blocks and repair tears in the aura and help restore well being. Advanced practitioners are able to give treatments without touching the recipient and even send treatments great distances, even to people on other continents.

Reiki is a system of energy healing from Japan using methods transmitted to and received by Mikao Usui, legendarily at the end of a 21 day fast and meditation in Japan.

Reiki is a simple and powerful system of laying on of hands and remote healing that can transform lives. The Usui System of Natural Healing was introduced to the West by Mrs. Hawayo Takata, from Hawaii, who received Reiki Attunements From Dr. Hayashi.

Dr Hayashi had a Reiki clinic in Tokyo. Mrs. Takata was visiting relatives in Japan and had successful treatments for a chronic illness at Dr. Hayashis' Clinic. Dr. Hayashi is credited with formalizing the system of hand positions and levels for use in a more clinical health oriented practice. Usui Sensei intended his system to assist people to become enlightened. Physical healing was a side effect rather than the end goal.

The ability to heal physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual imbalances with energy channeled through the hands has been viewed as a rare and mystical gift requiring great spiritual achievement. However this simply is not true. Reiki is almost as easily learned as learning to tie your shoes.  However spiritual advancement is required in order to strengthen and solidify any healing abilities.

Reiki is not a substitute for Medical treatment nor is it a diagnostic system. Reiki is an intelligent energy of love and wholeness. When you use Reiki you find many more ways to work with and gain value from it. The possible ways and systems for working with universal life force energy are infinite.

Advancements From Original Usui Reiki

Dr Usui never intended his form of Reiki to be a complete system but rather a work in progress. He left the system open with the intent that in later years it could be added to and advanced beyond, which is precisely what has happened.

There are now many forms of Reiki in existence with many specific healing goals ranging from Gold to Kundalini, Ethereal Crystals and Herbs. Probably the greatest advancement yet from the original Usui System is that of Advanced Mahatma Ascension Reiki.

Advanced Mahatma Ascension Reiki is a powerful system designed to allow the receiver to slowly, over time heal and ascend towards the 352nd level (Source/God consciousness). This is a new and rare system whereby very few have attained the 352nd level (of which i am one).

The Mahatma Journey is profound and eye opening, of which i will write in my next post.
